Car Insurance Named Driver NCD

Son is sitting his driving test as I type, so hopefully I'll be looking for car insurance this afternoon!
He's been having driving lessons but also driving my car on his own learner driver insurance policy. When he passes I will be gifting him my car, but me & his dad will remain on his policy as named drivers. Are there any insurance companies out there that will honour my NCD as a named driver? I did read something on here that suggested there are companies out there, but a google search hasn't brought anything up. Anyone know of any insurance companies that might do this?
Thank you

Named driver discounts are few and far between and usually are for people taking out a policy in their own name after being a named driver on another policy and staying with the same company.
As you will be a named driver on your sons policy I'm not sure where any NCD comes into play?2 -
I don't think named drivers can use NCD as it is only the policy holder that counts.1

Not really no.
Have I got this right:
Currently you are the main driver on the second car and have a NCD, your son is a maned driver on that car. Your husband also has a car and he is the main driver on that with you as a named driver.
You plan to main your son owner and main driver on the second car with both you and your husband as named drivers. Your husbands car will continue to be him as the main driver and you as a named driver.
What you could do if it would work (as in not blatantly fronting) is to swap you and your husband as the main driver each renewal on the car your main car. This way you both keep a valid no claims as your NCD remains valid for 2 years typically. You could even do it 2 years husband 1 year you if there is much of a price difference.
I take it you don't both do business mileage, as that cover does not usually extend to a named driver unless specifically covered.1 -

You're asking can you use your NCD on the policy despite your son being the policyholder and main driver? In which case no.
ND NCD is more the reverse situation, where the named driver as well as the policyholder earn a form of NCD which they can then use when they get their own policy in their own name.1 -
Thanks everyone, just bit the bullet & paid the £3600 ouch0
