Best banks for an Appointee joint bank account

Does anyone have any advice on the best banks or bank accounts when setting up an Appointee account in both names. I checked the banking section but could not find any info around applying for an Appointee bank account.
I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...

Barclays is regularly mentioned here. Not sure if it's 'authorised user' or some other status and whether it's good for 'appointee'.
