Not sure of others but don't forget with debit card deposits it tends to be 2 working days till you begin to earn interest?
Think thats the case anyway, its why I do mine with manual transfers.1

My NLA Progressive Building Society regular saver allows top ups by debit card. I pay in the minimum by standing order then an amount to bring the amount to maximum by debit card. Unfortunately I can't see this option on their current regular saver.1

Mansfield BS supports them in branch only (all 4 of them!).
I believe Leeds BS is the same.1

For my Halifax Reward requirements, I do 3 X debit card payments of £500 each into my NS and I Direct Saver account. It's a straightforward easy access account currently paying an unexciting 3.30%. You can't withdraw the money out of the Direct Saver for 7 days after making the debit card deposits. However the money is earning interest while you wait to get it out. Worth it to earn £15 per month in Halifax reward paymentsAidanmc said:[Deleted User] said:Not sure of others but don't forget with debit card deposits it tends to be 2 working days till you begin to earn interest?
