Good. No CCJ risked then. I doubt BW Legal will use a NI law firm as that makes them less money. We suspect it's all scaremongering.

BW legal are handling a load of Smart Parking cases this month and yours is probably too tricky for them.

Show us the next letter, stop throwing them away and STOP getting PCNs (you are making yourself a possible target for one-off NI litigation).

Yes it seems to be the case, how long do these companies usually chase for payment and ultimately do they stop in anyone’s experience?

In E/W they have 6 years to litigate, but could chase the alleged debt forever (silly debt collector letters outside of the court process) if they choose to do so. Never seen that, but you never can tell.

In Scotland it's 5 years to litigate, thereafter the alleged debt dies, no further contact/chasing allowed.

Not sure of the NI situation, but I'm sure Google can tell you. Update us when you find out please.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I think it’s a similar timescale to England.

Accepting to my fate that it might be a possibility that a CCJ comes my way and if there are multiple. What is the likely cost per one as theyve stated £700 on only one of the recent letters. Is this realistic? In most of the occasions the driver was there for 8 hours.

    Thanks

    Right
You just need to stop with this negativety
No one here is going to predict stuff like this as it's pointless and doesn't help anyone
What people do is often use this as justification to themselves to pay
Forget about it and don't waste anyone's time asking pointless questions.

I'm just trying to predict whether it's worth holding out to see if they try for a CCJ and will it cost more to do so than making it all go away now.

Sorry for the negativity but they're winning the game currently

    Right it's quite simple
Do nothing. It's simple scare tactics to make easy prey pay up.
You have no need to pay. That's really the end of it.

I already told you - because you haven't got an old address in play - that there's no danger of a CCJ. I typed that already!

What do you think a CCJ is? It's not synonymous with a claim form.

Please read what we've told you.

    THERE WILL BE NO CCJ.
