Setting New Price & Moving Home

Good morning all,
I am hoping I am not too late now to set up a new price before the new prices come in to play on the 1st April - could someone please confirm?
We are moving house this year, likely in the next 3 months.
If we move, does that new price stay with me as a customer, or does it stay with the property?
Has anyone had experience of moving house mid term of your price agreement?
Thanks all

Both you and your property will lose the price (tariff) agreement when you move. The new owner of your house will be put on a standard tariff with your current supplier. You will be put on the standard tariff of whichever supplier supplied the previous occupants of your new house. After that happens you can apply to transfer to whichever supplier you were using and you might be allowed to remain on whatever tariff you had before, but that is at the discretion of the supplier.
It's not too late to move to a fixed price (tariff) but it's almost certainly too late to get the best deals.Reed0 -
