    Really?

How much refund are you due and how has it been calculated?

Have Octopus given you a calculation of how they have arrived at the amount you are due to be refunded?

If so, why are they refusing to refund?

OP did state at the start of this thread that Octopus simply aren't responding to their emails and complaints.
If this is true, they won't have a calculation from Octopus, or a refusal to pay.

    Or a refund to process!

That's the point, there is no refund due yet.

The OP needs to word the query/complaint properly that actually describes the issue accurately.

Asking for a refund or why a refund hasn't been made is likely to confuse and bewilder most people when no credit has actually been created.

What the OP really wants is a credit for electricity they have used but wouldn't have used but for the mistake by the meter installer.

The thread title is misleading and if that is how the complaint has been presented then it is no wonder that it is difficult to answer.
