No progress from Chip 4 days later. How should I proceed?

After failing to be able to access my Chip cash isa using their app on Friday after several attempts it has now locked me out. I have discovered that there was an update to the app a few days earlier so wonder if that is part of the problem. Having provided suitable ID I am still no further forward to accessing my money held in the isa. Just messages like “ Hey, we haven't forgotten about you. We're waiting on a response from a different department, once we hear from them I'll be in touch again. Thanks for your patience in the meantime.” Which sounds more AI than human. And just now 8 hours later “ just wanted to let you know I have chased this for you, so hopefully the team will get back to me soon.

Sorry for the delay here, and thank you for your patience.”

Having seen a few reviews on Trustpilot where one person was still waiting for 4 weeks to access their account makes me very concerned. And no other means of accessing them apart from email makes me wonder what my next port of call is if it doesn’t get resolved soon? I have used Chip for about 2 years now without issues but it does highlight how things can get awkward if something does happen!

You could transfer the ISA elsewhere if you need access in the short term and they cannot promise a resolution in a matter of days.

I can't see why a reset would take longer than a week.

You say 4 days. However not all companies work weekends. In essence little more than one working day.
