Council PCN

Hi All

Received a PCN from Redbridge Council. Appealed it but they rejected. Have been trying to pay the ticket at the discounted rate but it says "PCN cannot be found, please make sure registration and PCN number is entered correctly". I have entered them correctly. On the first occasion the PCN was found online, I tried to pay three times but it kept saying that my bank wouldn't approve it. 

But now the PCN cannot be found online. I have checked my bank account but no payments have gone out. I was planning to call the council tomorrow as I only have two days left to pay at the discounted amount.

In your experience, do you think they have discontinued the PCN, but surely they would tell me? I am just worried that if I call them, I may have to pay it when maybe due to a glitch, it is no longer available to pay!!

It's unlikely to be discontinued if your appeal was rejected. Maybe payment has gone through re check your bank and try searching PN number tomorrow.

I am having a similar problem with LB Redbridge. So I have asked for a verification code to forward my case to London Tribunal Road Users charge but they have not provided one.
The problem is that the rejected appeal came by email and the next day, the charge was up to £195. I cannot appeal either.
