Capital Gains Tax - Selling ETFs

If I sell some ETFs and then use all of the funds from the sale to buy other ETFs am I liable for capital gains tax in the monies from the sale?

    Assuming they are not in a tax wrapper, then any gains from the sale would go towards your annual gains amount and depending on the size of that, you may or my not be subject to CGT.

    The fact you are buying different assets has no impact on the CGT position.
