Octopus Points
Just like any energy company their energy saving events are a sham. They pay me around 100 "octopoints" for every kWh saved. Sounds impressive until you want to redeem them and find out the points are are pracrically worthless. My 1800 octopoints accrued so far by sitting in the cold and dark are worth just £1.34! Why did I bother?
Makes Nectar look positively bountiful!

It was known ahead of time that the Savings Sessions this year were going to be a waste of time, even Octopus suggested as much. Playing along with them only encouraged them. It's not down to Octopus, it's down to NESO. Last year my Octoplus points were worth ~ £14 - this year I have ~ 73p's worth !!0

24/25 so far 47p. Mind you, I've not been trying to save this 'winter', just opting in. I'm sure if I'd tried I could be up to £1 by now.
