Not sure this would be something covered but here goes. I live in social housing and at end of last year received an appointment for the housing authority to erect external scaffolding to reach solar panels. They then arrived one week early and erected the scaffolding whilst I was still in bed-I am deaf elderly and disabled and at the wrong side of house. When I later about 9am let the dogs out I noticed nothing except no dogs when I called them in. I then noticed the scaffold and the wide open side gate which had been locked and was now forced open.
This has been addressed and is not the reason for this post except to say apologies and repaired gate. The roof was seen too and job finished mid January. My problem now is the scaffolding is still in situ blocking me from opening both front and back door of garage. I have written and received confirmation of 5 day time frame for addressing my problem which is my mobility scooter and other aids are within the garage as well as other things that I need to access. It is now 14 days with no answer and calling just say it will be being dealt with we are busy.

I have no alternative but to purchase another scooter to be able to continue with my life. I have advised them of this to no avail. What I am asking is would I stand any chance of getting my money back should I do this?

The scaffold should have the scaffold companies name on it. Give them a call directly0
