Electric Mini Aceman SE driver's seat - Help please

I'm sure when I finished the test drive in the demo Mini Aceman and went to open the door the driver's seat slid back so I could get out more easily with a warning to be aware of anyone in the back seat.

Unfortunately, I cannot find out how to make my new Mini Aceman SE do this.

Does anyone know what settings I need to change to achieve this please?

Thank you

Assuming you actually have electric seats in the one you ordered it should be configurable in in the menu system, so you need to have a read though the user manual.

It's called easy exit/entry in settings
    Should be covered in handbook.

Thank you both for replying. Yes, I have electric memory drivers seat I have searched the handbook & 'in car info' and there is no mention of easyexit/entry in the handbook or in the car.

Infuriating lack of information and no-one has said categorically that  it can't be done just not said how !

I suggest you take a trip back to dealer & get them to explain how it can be sorted.

Or search out a Mini forum & ask there?

Thank you born_again I'm afraid I will have to go back to the dealer which is at a distance - my phone calls have not been answered - buck passing! which is why I thought I'd try on here.

I would be staggered if the answer wasn’t somewhere to be found on the internet.

    Maybe try YT ?

    Try:
Settings - Vehicle Settings- Driving Position - Exit Seat Slide then switch it on.
Same procedure for steering wheel raising, which is called Exit Steering Up.
As already said it's likely on YouTube.

If its anything like VW or Mercedes dealerships there is a reasonable prospect that they have no idea... I had to tell the former where the boot release cord was when the electronic opening mechanism was broken and the later told me the car rolling an inch or so was normal behaviour with an electronic handbrake
