Morning all
Cold here with a strong wind which will be good for drying the washing, I have one load in the wm and OH can then put his work clothes in, he has gone shopping for his mum and dad this morning which he does every Saturday and several times during the week, his dad has given up driving and has become very reliant on OH - good job he is so patient!House work to do today and dogs to be walked then a rest this afternoon, I bought myself a couple of pairs of new pyjamas yesterday which are so comfortable one of them came with a sleep mask which I thought I would hate but tried it on last night and it really helped with my sleep, I have to have the room really dark and cold to be able to sleep well and the mask really helped.
Burger in a bun with chips for dinner tonight OH will cook as it’s his turn. Our new garden pergola turned up yesterday which is in a massive box in the conservatory we will wait a month for the weather to get better before putting it up.
Got a letter this morning from nationwide saying that as they have merged with Virgin we get £50 as a thank you, OH got one too so hopefully a nice £100 bonus into the bank 😃
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning All
Belated Happy birthday Izzy. You have worked so hard and now is your time to enjoy x
I remember the jumble sales as a child and my Ddad spending his Saturday nights with his hands out whilst Dmum unwound all the woollen. One of my favourite memories is a lilac and white poncho DMum knitted for me and my Dneice.
Went to bingo with DD last night at her local village hall and we won! A nice new kettle, teabags and coffee. Very handy as my kettle is on its last legs. We have very hard water and I seem to be forever descaling
The prizes were very good
Today DH wants to assemble his latest purchase so friends coming over to assist, he has been awake since before 6 looking at the instructions, boys and their toys spring to mind!
Have a good day all hugs to all those who want them
