The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for two nights’ B&B in a Spacious Room at the Cavendish Hotel at Baslow, in the Peak District National Park. The hotel – on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate – reopened last summer after a £3.5 million refit, and has just been named the Times and Sunday Times Hotel of the Year 2025. The designer Nicola Harding collaborated with Chatsworth’s chatelaine Laura Burlington on the new look, which combines understated luxury with local craftsmanship. There are two restaurants – the informal Garden Room and the fine-dining Gallery Restaurant, which has three AA rosettes.

The prize includes one signature evening menu for two at the Gallery Restaurant (excluding drinks). It must be taken before April 6, 2026, subject to availability and excluding public holidays and December 22 to 31.

The prize is subject to availability, non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative. In the event of cancellation by the winner, for whatever reason, no alternative prize will be given.
