Changing cylinder lock on sliding patio door

I am trying to change the cylinder lock on our sliding door, but the cylinder is stuck. Is there another screw I need to remove, or can I just push it out with brute force?

I managed to do our uPVC doors with no problem, so assumed it would be the same....just remove the screw holding the cylinder in place, and remove it.  There are some notches on the bottom of the cylinder that I didn't notice on the others....do they mean anything?

There was loads of silicon in the hole beneath the lock, which I've removed but maybe the residue is making it stick?

You need the key in the lock, and to turn it about a 1/4 or a 1/3 one way or the other (you'll figure it out), otherwise the lock holds itself in place.

See this picture, the black/red bit will be jamming the lock from being removed, it needs to be turned a little so its in line with the barrel behind "EXT".

Yeah, I tried this but it is still not budging. That's why I wasn't sure that there is another screw somewhere that is not visible?

Yeah, what ic said, put a squirt of WD40 or similar everywhere you can get to then wiggle the key from the inside pulling towards you while tapping with a mallet on the outside. They can be stiff, but only 1 screw and you have removed it.

Put the key in & turn it slightly back & forth while jiggling the lock.
