Moved to Cyprus aged 25 in 2004. No full years UK NI Contributions. CF83 for Class 2 Contributions?

  • For sure I was working for myself up to the point I left.
    The one thing I've got against my record it looks like for 2003/2004 is the lack of self declaration. I'm assuming it's because I knew I was leaving UK for the foreseeable future. 
    I just can't remember if I was actually employed just before I left the UK. Pretty sure I was, but as it was sporadic employment agency work I'm not 100% certain. 

    Let's see what the CF83 reply says in July.

    I was a student 1995-1997. I worked part time in Asda during those years. Then I went to live in Dubai from 2000-2006 then came back to do a PGCE in 2006 started teaching 2007 . Could I pay missing national insurance contributions Watched Martin Lewis 4 March and he seems to say I can but HMRC  website says I can’t.

    What years do you want to pay - before 2006 ?  If so it is too late, 2005-06 ceased to be available from April 2012.
