MSE "enhanced service" at EON?

Has anyone else experienced the "enhanced service" from EON after signing up via MSE? Two months later and multiple emails and I still don't have a working smart meter (despite this being a new build with smart meters).

    Newbuilds can apparently have issues with meter registrations.

    There is third party org that handles a national database.  It might be worth doing a who is my supplier Check for your meter.

    It might not be listed and might be part of the issue.

    Have EOn Next I assume (rather than EOn Heat etc) given you any expected date or reason for delays.


    Several posters here have apparently had them mismapped to neighbours. Some iirc speculating re differences between plot numbers and allocated postal address etc. And yes from posts that can take months to sort out once spotted.


    So make sure you check your meter serial numbers against statements and your absolute readings from the meter vs the claimed from "your" meter once it has gone live.

    Still no working smart meters nearly three months later. Just get told they'll "get it booked in for me" then nothing happens, I ask again, same response. Last time they said some team (a name I'd never heard of - presumably an internal team) was "pushing back", whatever that means.

    It was a mistake to think the MSE "enhanced service" would be any good.
