My thanks to all for the wealth of information, Savvy_Sue's suggestion of consulting STEP where I found he is listed.
Regarding LPOA's, I had an EPA for my mother as her health declined but fortunately didn't need to use it as she was still as sharp as a tack at the end.
I'm hoping that the gene has been inherited but have a stash of tabs for a quick exit when/if I feel the need!
