Sign Up Competition Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter
The promoter is: Southampton Cruise Centre, part of the Travel Village Group of 298 Highfield Road, Blackpool, FY4 3JU.

2. The competition
2.1.The title of the competition is Win a Cunard Norwegian Fjords Voyage.
2.2. Our entry mechanics include online subscriptions to our Southampton Cruise Centre, or Travel Village Group Going Solo email marketing database(s).

3. How to enter
3.1.Competition dates

The competition will run from 10:00 on 06/03/2025 (the “Opening Date”) to 23:59 on 30/09/2025 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.

3.2.Competition entry deadline
All competition entries must be received by the Promoter no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

3.3.To enter the competition:
Enter the competition online by subscribing to one of our relevant email marketing databases. Must submit your subscription form using the online entry form provided on www.southamptoncruisecentre.com, or on Facebook, by 30 September 2025.

3.4.No purchase necessary
No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.

3.5.The Promoter will not accept:
(a)Competition entries
Responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

3.6.Terms and conditions
By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

3.8.Judging criteria
The competition entries will be placed into a random online winner generator. The decision of the Travel Village Group will be final.

4. Eligibility
4.1.Competition residents
The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a)employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b)Promoter’s employees
employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c)Family members
Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

4.2.Eligibility to enter
In order to enter the competition, you confirm that you are eligible and eligible to claim any prize that may be awarded. The Promoter may require proof of eligibility in order to enter the competition.

4.3. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a)automatically generated by computer;
(b)completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c)illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d)photocopies and not originals; or
(e)incomplete.

4.4.Limit of one entry
There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.

4.5.Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of this prize competition.

5. The prize

5.1.Number of prizes
The prize is one 2026 7 Night Cunard Cruises holiday for 2 adults, to the Norwegian Fjords in a Balcony cabin.

5.2.Travel agent
The holiday voucher is provided by the Travel Village Group of 298 Highfield Road, Blackpool, FY4 3JU.

5.3. Travel Prize
The prize does not include travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations, spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s).

5.4.Valid travel documents

You will be responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the holiday in question on the travel dates specified. Dates once notified to the travel agent cannot be changed unless prior arrangements have been made with us.

5.5. Prize substitution

There is no cash alternative for the prize.

5.6.Prize supplier
The prize is supplied by the Travel Village Group (the “Supplier”). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control makes it necessary to do so.

5.7.The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

5.8.Claiming prize
In order to claim the prize you must respond to our email communication within 30 days of announcement. Southampton Cruise Centre will contact you directly by email to confirm you have won. You will have 30 days from the date of email communication to respond and claim your prize.

5.9. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.

6. Winners
6.1.Final decision
The decision of the Promoter or the judges nominated by the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

6.2.Contact the winner
The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the email address provided with the competition entry.

6.3.Publishing winners
The Promoter must publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surname and county of prize winner on our Travel Village Group email newsletter(s) and Website(s) on 01/10/2025 (Announcement Date).

6.4.Objections to publication
If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. Claiming the prize
7.1.Claiming the prize
If you are the winner of the prize, you will have 5 days from the Announcement Date to claim the prize by sending a written declaration, in accordance with condition

7.2.Third-party claims
The prize cannot be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

7.3.Claiming prize
If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 5 days of the Announcement Date, then the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to an eligible entrant selected from among those entries that were received before the Closing Date.

7.4.Promoter not responsible
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

8. Limitation of liability
[Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors (whether acting in their individual capacity or as part of a group) or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
9.1.Competition entry
All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.

You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website www.southamotoncruisecentre.com and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide (for a period of 5 years), irrevocable licence to use, display, publish (including transmitting and copying), copy (including altering), store (including re-formatting) and sublicense the competition entry.

10. Data protection and publicity
10.1.Personal information
The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy – https://www.southamptoncruisecentre.com/privacy-policy/. See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.

11. General
11.1.Breach of terms
If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your participation in the competition.

11.2.Promoter’s right
If it becomes necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize competition.

11.3.Governing law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
