Balance transfer credit card

Carrying a balance long-term of a CC is never a good idea as it is very expensive. (Add up all the interest you have paid over the years and you will be surprised) If you are financially stressed then moving a much as you can to a 0% card is a good tactic. However, you need a plan to clear the debt before the zero-interest period ends.JeanHJ said:Hello
I have may a simple question I'm undecided to apply for a balance transfer card because I don't want to damage my credit score first but the situation is as follows Well that part is easy to address. You do not have a credit score so you do not be concerned about it. I have only 1card since over 13 years and never missed any pay.I have previously reduced the limit by half quickly but due to circumstances in my job I got a 30% income cut. I see that the rest of the card balance I need too much time due to the shortened budget and 34% apr is doing the rest.Any tips available to make a decision easier.
Thanks jean1 -
Hello
I'm not sure what that is you get 100% pre approved and then declined on application that makes all no sense my score are high and never missed a payment on the card I have or on a loan I had in the past.
Any experience with those results

Any indication you get from an eligibility check is just that - an indication. It's impossible for an eligibility check to give you a guaranteed acceptance/rejection outcome, not least because it doesn't access your full credit history.
Since a lender cannot even see your mythical "score", that makes not one jot of difference to your application. A lender will look purely at the raw data contained in your file and form their own opinion, comparing your factual data against their own particular lending criteria.JeanHJ said:my score are high0
