It shows the effect of Income Tax, NI, Universal Credit withdrawal, the High-Income Child Benefit Charge, the free childcare scheme, tax-free childcare scheme, student loan repayments, pension contributions and (to an extent), Council Tax Reduction, on your take-home pay for a given employed salary for a given BRMA. It uses 2025-26 data and is primarily a ready-reckoner, not a substitute for larger analyses.
