Premier Parking Enforcement Ltd - Digbeth Court, Birmingham - Not parked wholly within marked bay

Original letters including overdue payment letter sent to wrong address in September 2024 accusing parking not wholly within marked bay although signage did not explain this. Received letter to my address from Gladstone Solicitors demanding £265 for a PCN which they had sent me no evidence for and the matter was put on hold until March 2025 after MSE template was sent. 

Email now received a couple of days ago from Gladstone saying they’re happy to settle with £170 and if payment is not received by March 20th Legal action will be taken. 

The car was parked in an end bay with a black van next to it which is nearly out of its own bay. The grey Audi was parked Millimeters out of the white line due to an elderly passenger not able to exit without assistance. Even the front of the car is in line with the front of the black van. When parking there was a large pickup truck not allowing the car to be fully reversed although the truck was not there when evidence was taken.

The only sign in sight did not show ‘park wholly within marked bay’ which there is a photo of. Gladstone sent photo of dirty dingy corner with litter with a sign saying this T&C. The only other signage was covered in graffiti which is useless. Shouldn’t all signs be identical?Gladstone ignored photo of incorrect signage and suggested people should walk around car park and read every sign (shouldn’t have phoned in hindsight).

What are the chances of this case being thrown out? Thinking of just paying so stress is over with. Any help appreciated.
