Does the latest version of Firefox 136.0.1 have issues for anyone here?

Hi,
Not updated Firefox browser since last year and it is nagging me to update before tomorrow due to a root certificate expiring
I just want to check if anyone on here is having any issues with the latest version 136.0.1 first as it seems to have conflicting views elsewhere?
If there are any problems, would I be better off considering using Firefox Extended Support Release, Desktop, 128.8.0 instead?
Thank you in advance, folks

I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to keep up to date with your browser, there are constantly evolving security concerns for starters. I'm sure there will be people who have problems with all browser versions to be honest, considering the wide range of websites, extensions , system configurations etc.
You should be fine. If you're really worried (you shouldn't be!) can you obtain the installer file for the version you're currently using?1 -

Rarely the browser itself.1

I always preferred the ESR versions, I felt FF kind of lost their way with the rush to get a new version out.

Nope. Working fine for me.1

Mine just auto-updates and no problems.

I stopped updating FF a long time ago, lots of complaints about certain settings and their reply was they want it that way and tough luck.
Why force users to have settings they hate just because the developer likes it? It would have been so simple to have an option on which setting
it's already in the code. Without the users your product dies.
Just checked their market share and I was surprised to see it under 3% and dropping year on year.
I hacked mine a lot to make it do what I want and don't use it on unknown websites. I keep separate browsers for banking etc.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -
Not keeping up to date leaves you open to all sorts of vulnerabilities.
Maybe take it as an opportunity to move to another browser like Brave.1 -
Hi, thanks for all the comments.I have now updated it and changed the settings to auto-update.@forgotmyname- I'm not techie enough to 'hack' it unfortunately and even known websites can be vulnerable I suppose. What browsers do you use for banking? thanks0

I have Chrome which auto updates and has zero addons for my banking. Brave is my everyday browser especially Youtube.
Opera for sites that may or may not be safe and Firefox which is locked down with uBlock and NoScript so I can see what
websites are trying to load in the background.
Then Edge if I really must but that is rare.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -
Brave is my go to browser for day to day. Lots of security features you can switch on, many on by default.
