Parking Eye 7 minutes Fine

Hi all as the title suggests, received a fine for stopping at a home bargains parking/lay by for 7 minutes where apparently no stopping is allowed (I.e per the letter 00:00 allowed to stop there), can anyone please guide as to the best approach on this? 60 quid for 7 minutes is ridiculous. I’ll post the letter later, but for context it was night time if helpful.

First, read the NEWBIES thread* and get some photos of the unlit signs for your POPLA appeal.

Its definitely NOT a fine, just an invoice from a private parking company

Please study the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum,  especially the first post

This is the letter for context, I don’t know if I can actually go down to the parking to take photos so what would be the best next step in terms of appealing it etccc

Get some images of unlit signs within the next 4 weeks ready for POPLA stage. No rush but you will need evidence taken in PITCH DARKNESS.

Put in an appeal saying the driver gained no amenity from the site by driving in and out for a total of seven minutes and no contract was agreed because any signs were unlit.

And read the thread post of the NEWBIES thread and tell us if that PCN is a golden ticket when you read that section? Don't ask us what that is please.

You tell us - golden ticket or not?
