Thanks for the start @Gers, chilly here though only zero degrees. 

The MRI went ok, thanks for all your kind comments. I can’t say it was an enjoyable experience and one I wouldn’t want to repeat unless essential but all over in half an hour so not too bad.   Had to smile, it was in a mobile scanner on the hospital car park, the waiting area was smaller than our pantry with just enough space for a chair……had to wonder how any larger people or those with a carer would cope! 

Off to mid Wales to meet some friends for a walk today - it won’t be a marathon as one of them has some hip problems but great to catch up with them regardless of the walk.

Morning folks and thanks GERS.  A blooming chilly one here too. Strange weather, the sky at the back is looking ominously black whilst the sky at the front is blue and the sun is shining. Which will win I wonder!

I am up and at 'em early doors this morning as I have my dreaded annual review at the surgery this morning. I get so strung about it my BP will be sky high before the review even gets going! White coat syndrome or what! I'll be glad when it's all done with.

Thanks for the good wishes yesterday. We had a lovely day out despite the weather trying to spoil it.. Whilst we were warm and snug inside waiting for our lunch the heavens opened and the hailstones battering the windows were enormous. By the time we headed for the car it was all over. I got some lovely gifts but far too many sweeties and chocs which are my downfall. Today I must show more restraint and put the boxes out of sight - sadly not out of mind though! I've a real sweet tooth and they will be calling out to me!

Good morning 

A cold one here also, although the sun is shining. The forecast is for showers. Yesterday was a day of sunshine and showers.

I've been up for a while as big dog needed to go out for a wee  unusual for him as sometimes it's hard to get him out before 9am. No real plans for today,  I've got a parcel to return but not urgent, I'll see how the weather goes. No shopping needed either. No idea what's for tea, it's a day of wait and see.

TA, I haven't got a sweet tooth, if I get chocs they last a while, so send yours to me to look after, they'll be quite safe here.

Another chilly one here too but not as bad as you're suffering Gers!

Another one that can't resist chocolate here, TA's chocs certainly wouldn't last long here!

Off out to meet my old comrade to have a good old chinwag this morning at our local garden centre then popping into supermarket to do a top up shop as I usually go on a Friday but went Monday this week after coming home from holiday last weekend.

Morning all

Chilly one here again but no frost which is a bonus, Rob coming today and we are off to work yesterday we made some fruit scones will see what they want us to do today.

We ended up not having the omelette last night so that has been moved to another night we had Kiev and chips instead, tonight will be something with mince chilli perhaps. DP1 I did laugh at little one saying an omelette is only for lunch but maybe she is right and we are a bit odd 😂

I am very much looking forward to my day off tomorrow I could do with a lay in I hate having to get up early I am a night owl for sure.

Morning all, nice and sunny this morning.Thanks Gers.

I may pop into town to change my library books again, and get some veg, we'll see, apart from that I'll be experimenting with the new to me ninja. I got some turkey bones from X mas out of the freezer to make some stock. I have definite gaps in the 2 small freezers so some rearranging might be done from the chest one .There doesn't seem to be a great deal of meat left so will probably order a meat pack next week when the weekly deal is announced by the butcher.

Morning again - made it downstairs. I paused to change the bedding, that ended up with me rooting in the linen drawer to gather old / yellow and one pale green pillowcases which will now go to the textile bin. They've been lingering too long.

My quick trip north was good, lovely drives again. I had to visit my bank to sort out an account closure, I enjoyed a fresh coffee there and great service too. Well done RBS! The unwanted order was sent off by Marks and the two wee packets posted too. A little interlude with friends who live halfway was cheery. Once home I boxed up the unwanted saucepans with more than a little pang of sadness but they are getting too heavy to handle so I've bought some equally lovely stainless steels ones. A good day overall.

This morning I've got the pool exercise class to go to, I must gear up my enthusiasm as I missed last week and it's so easy to lapse into inertia.  My new passport is arriving too, another great service.

Keep warm everyone, lots of drinks are the order of the day I think.  Hugs to all.

Morning everyone
Cold but bright this morning. I had a lovely afternoon with little one yesterday - she arrived with her new plan for me to copy, six pages of instructions! She made her mummys birthday card, then we spent a long time in a pink tepee in the living room, camping with her dolls...a rather nice way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.
Today I have work at lunch time, a few jobs to do before then.
