I have invested in a few single shares, but mostly in funds / IT's. I tend to start checking more often if something has doubled in value, but otherwise if I'm happy with what a company does / plans to do and the debt load doesn't seem to be increasing beyond what I regard as acceptable I leave things alone.

Maybe temper this by learning about what happened to Long Term Capital Management, although that's more to do with bonds. Similar, if less dramatic, lessons can be learnt from Woodford.EasyToAssemble01 said:
