in the past we have used our clubcard points and used avis

it makes it more expensive on the rental rate but your not paying real money for it - well that was our reckoning anyway !!

  • hi from Portugal

Used to work for Avis Rent-A-Car.

I live in Portugal now and publish information about this wonderful country on our site www.portugalnyt.dk. Only in Danish language so far I am afraid, but we are working on the English translation.

We have used this car rental broker company http://www.portugal-auto-rentals.com/ with success. If you have a good company agremement with say Avis it is probably cheaper.

If not call or email this broker and you will get a competitive price. We have found them very friendly end all rentals worked out fine. You might even get an Avis car...

    Cheers

i have recently used sixt who had very good service etc. child seat was provided for a 3 year old but this was just a booster seat- mine enjoyed the change but it is whether you would be happy with this. most airlines let you put your own through with suitcases if it is an issue
