Administrator problems

I have a Dell laptop (less than 2 months old) running XP SP2. As usual Dell bundled it with a lot of junk I don't want. I have tried turning them off from starting up using msconfig , but PC tells me I cannot as I'm not the Administrator and lists someone else as the Administrator. But, when I go into Accounts, it lists me as the computer administrator and there is no other account to switch to. Any ideas?

Thanks!

  • I beleve there is a hidden administrators account, when you log on press ALT+CTRL+DEL (press del twice) should bring up a log in box, type in Administrator in the first box, and the password you entered when you set it up.
