Excel Discontinuance after 16 months

Long story short, App never took payment after saying my parking had started. It has been an awful 16 months of being constantly harassed, threatened, treated like a criminal,  and multiple nights of not being able to sleep. They waited till 4 hours before having to pay the court and talk to a truly independent judge.





Thanks to the advice of this forum, I held my nerve and did not give into the playground bullies.
It is not a win though, ill never get the 2 Christmas's waiting for a court date back, or my wife's graduation that I had to miss due to a mediation call, or the numerous hours spent trying to defend myself. I was not happy they gave up either, I wanted my day in court so someone would finally listen to the hardship these contract entrapment companies extract on people.  Keep up the fight with them and hopefully we can bring these extortion business down. 

P.S, my normal life job outside of having to fight against parking companies, is a Videographer/ documentary maker, if any one fancies it maybe we could make a film about fighting these companies if anyone fancies it. Thanks again all.

Nothing to stop your writing to the judge with a costs assessment asking for some recompense due to unreasonable behaviour @£19 per hour.

"27.14

(2) The court may not order a party to pay a sum to another party in respect of that other party’s costs, fees and expenses, including those relating to an appeal, except –

g) such further costs as the court may assess by the summary procedure and order to be paid by a party who has behaved unreasonably"
