Any news?1 -
Did you get consent from the other side? Was the hearing adjourned?Redkite22 said:

Hello Everybody
I recently received these 2 letters at home. My understand is that UK Parking Patrol Office has to pay £27 otherwise the court will drop the case and if they do next step will be court in the 3rd of october. Before that I am expecting other letter to how and what kind of document they want to be sent before the hearing, is that right?
Also I want to ask if attendance in the court could be a game changer because that day I am out of the country.
The government survey deadline was, so it is still open for your comments: FIGHTBACK ALERT:Please do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline next week. See this thread:
We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.
I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.
Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.
CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.

Hearing Date is the 3rd of october1

Right... so your deadline was likely last Friday and you are LATE. You had your deadline on page 2 of the Hearing Order.Redkite22 said:Hearing Date is the 3rd of October
Get a WS & exhibits emailed to BW Legal and the local court tomorrow without fail.
I hope you are not out of the country on 3rd because being late with your WS then not turning up to your hearing exposes you to added costs for a course of unreasonable conduct.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've sent WS to the Courte on the 23rd already and emailed them today that I won't be able to attend due to personal circumstances. I know this puts me in a bad light, but unfortunately I had other importatant thing to deal with in this period of my life. I don't at this point in a bad scenario how much the court could aske me to pay and if my chance of winning tends to 0. I received another letter from the BW Legal that is willing to accept £185 before the 1st octobe to settle. Would be a smart move to pay at this point? I am willing to pay till £250 and go till the end of the matter but if you guys suggest it could be further more maybe is wise to pay. what do you suggest?0

Hmmm hard to know but by not attending you are completely handing their rep the floor, to speak unchallenged.
But you have emailed to say you can't attend, so you haven't acted too unreasonably (except your WS was late, did you cc in BW Legal to the WS too?).
Up to you if you try to offer settlement or, if you think you put in great evidence pictures of poor signage and a compelling story that you rejected the contract by leaving, you might want to wait and see.
But I am 99% sure you will lose by not attending & speaking in person. And the rep might argue for your late WS to be struck out.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
