Amazon Issue

Has anyone else had issues with Amazon returns? I’ve had two items recently lost in transit when sending via royal Royal Mail 48 tracked. 3 weeks on and the only update is that the item was dropped off at the post office. Amazon are now asking me to upload government ID documents and to wait 60 days.

If the tracking stops at you dropping it off then that sounds like a RM issue not an Amazon issue.
Who paid for/arranged the RM return? You or Amazon?
We have an Amazon Fresh next to the office so most returns can just be dropped there and 10 minutes later get the confirmation its been received back/refunded2 -
This is all done via Amazon, I requested a return for a faulty item. Amazon use Royal Mail tracked 48 for their returns and now this is the second time an item has been lost. Amazon are stating no refund unless I upload pictures of ID and wait 60 days.0

I usually make my Amazon returns via Royal Mail collection, once the parcel is scanned into the system I get a confirmation shortly followed by my refund.0
