Transferred the money to my holiday spending card.
Did you have at least £100 with them though?
Apparently I had £200 in an old savings account with them - which I had totally forgotten about1 -
I got mine today (probably) in my Flex Account, transferred it to my FlexDirect and then attempted to transfer it to my Santander (hub) account ... 'please use your card reader to confirm' ... now where did I put that card reader that I last used 20 years ago (hyperbole).
BTW nice to see that Doshwaster got an unexpected bonus.0 -
Well mine went in this morning. According to all the blurb and T & C's I shouldn't have it. Not used my flex saver, definitely not in the last 2 years and it said zero, now it says £50.
Only trouble now is getting at it, I have no linked account to it. I may have to open a current account but may wait for a switch opportunity. I think then I'll treat the grandkids to something with it.1 -
Mine was paid in, got the text this afternoon after it was paid
I found out their regular saver keeps tracking of payments and actively blocked paying into it which I did by mistake, rather than accepting and returning.
Onwards to the fair share if they decide to run itSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I got my payment today. I have a joint account with the Mrs and we both got notification that we have qualified for the 50 quid but as of now, only I have been awarded the money. Is it only one payment per current account rather than a payment for each qualifying member?

My wife and I both got ours yesterday. I had received an email and letter saying I would get it, but my wife received nothing until a text yesterday to say it had been paid. We have 2 joint current accounts and a joint savings account. Last year only I got the Fairer Share payment, which makes no sense.0
