iPad Pro 2nd Gen & Hyperoptic B/B Range Issues in Flat

Hi all,
I'm not technically minded & not sure if this should be here or on the broadband & internet access board. Apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I moved into a flat (built 2011) in December where Hyperoptic fitted the entire estate cabling. They also connected my flat & have supplied my broadband since then. I have an iMac & iPad Pro & 2 Android mobiles connected, no smart TV or other devices. My daughter sometimes connects her iPhone & Windows Surface Pro if she stays overnight.
Everything was fine for a few weeks until iPad IOS upgraded to 17.7.5 - the next day my iPad Pro began to lose connection frequently, & no amount of router restarts, forgetting network etc made much of a difference for more than a few hours. All the other devices remained connected during iPad Pro disconnections.
Apple ran some diagnostics on my iPad Pro & assured me the IOS upgrade was fine. Their next step is to strip my iPad Pro & reinstall IOS, which sounds drastic.
First Hyperoptic CS suggested splitting the Wi-Fi into a separate 2.4Ghz & separate 5Ghz, & that I switched between them when my iPad Pro dropped out.
Initially that helped, but I'm now swapping several times a day & streaming TV to the end of a single episode can be difficult.
Hyperoptic CS today checked my router again, & advised I may need a booster if I want to stream on the first floor of my flat. CS advised the 5 Ghz would be more reliable (in terms of signal) for streaming on the iPad Pro, but 2.4 Ghz had a greater distance range. What now happens is the 5 Ghz drops within minutes & iPad automatically connects back to 2.4 Ghz - & I'm only 3 steps away from the router. I was told that having a mirror near the router could also cause an issue.
It's very different from my last house (built in 1875 with very thick walls) & the house before (1960s) where I could merrily stream TV for hours in both gardens & my third-floor loft, while the router was at my front door. Same iPad Pro & even the same mirrors.
Is this a common problem in blocks of flats? Or something unique to Hyperoptic's supply? Or an IOS issue?
Today I have a privacy warning on the 2.4 channel (not for the 5 channel) It says 'this network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic' Below that it says 'the names of websites & other servers your device accesses on this network may be monitored& recorded by other devices on this network'
I've looked at the learn more info link shown in my settings, but that is way over my head.
I can see on Apple Support chats, this has been an issue for years, but I find the advice over there too technical to follow...
I can't log in to my Hyperoptic manager using my IP address on my Mac - Safari can't open the page (WebKit ErrorDomain: 305) & trying in Chrome shows - Your connection is not private
Trying to login on my iPad Pro shows 'this connection is not private. This website may be impersonating 192.168.1.1 to steal your personal or financial information. You should go back to the previous page.'
CS also confirmed my router's firewall is set to the recommended medium level & told me not to worry about the privacy message. Should I be worried? (I do all my banking on my iPad)
Any advice please?

The 192. IP address is internal to your network so that is not a worry and it is likely an http rather than https which means not encrypted and therefore not private. This is quite usual for accessing the admin pages on your router when connected to it via the internal wifi.2
