Transaction times?

hi, 
I’ve just reactivated my old Marcus easy access savings account and taken up the boosted bonus taking my rate to 4.3%

I’ve just tried to transfer a test pound from my HSBC account to the Marcus one and it says the transaction will go through on the next working day. I’ve never had this delay before when transferring from my HSBC to another account - is this normal and when it comes to transferring any money from my Marcus account will it really be “easy access” or will I be waiting a day or more if it’s the weekend for my “easy access money”? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

My experience with Marcus is that transactions don't happen immediately as they do with a lot of other banks.
