Solax invertor with battery not powering the house

Does anyone have any idea how to get a solax x1-ac invertor and battery set up to provide power to the house and not to the grid? All the system seems to be doing is supplying the grid or charging the battery and it's costing me a fortune daily in electric not saving electric? I also have a solis s6-gr1p2k-m invertor hooked up to pv solar. Has it been wired wrong or is there a setting I'm missing? Manufacturer is pretty useless at the moment. This version invertor doesn't have a discharge option so I can't "force" it to discharge. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Some more details might help.
You have two separate inverters? Were they both installed by the same installer? How recently?
The x1-ac probably has a current clamp so it can sense the house demand. Has this been installed the right way around?

I don't have a Solax inverter but my inverter control software has a feature to test the current clamp to verify that it is correctly positioned.

We have virtually the same set up as you Solis invertor for the panels and retro fitted Solax X1 AC invertor for the Solax battery our works fine, you need to go into the settings:

Charge and discharge period, allow discharge period  start time 00.00 end time 23.59, you need to do this on both period 1 and 2.

Has this been set up by an installer? Surely they’d be your go to for any queries like these?
