Hi everyone,
I got a trial of simply cook - the pots of herbs & spices to add to meals plus recipes. Worth the trial but guess I wouldn't do it every week.
Does anyone know any good meal plan apps? Just need ideas and quick ideas to add to a shopping list. In a rut...
⚡ Reading a free kindle book
⚡ Used a gift card for posh coffee out
⚡ Regifted gift for pal's bday 😉
⚡ Card and gift bag from stash ^
⚡ Prepared for job interview - please wish me luck 🙏🏻

Good luck for the interview @La_escocesa !
This week has been more about damage limitation than any wins, I've had a sick chicken so plans have changed, and I've had to spend a few extra pounds on her.
I have just signed up to the local library though, so I can access books and magazines free on my phone.
Next week should be better.Debts 04/01/25 01/05/25

Early, cold start as we went to a market to buy items for my business. Brrr!Other than that, I:Walked the dog first thing before we went out. He didn't want to go far, so not much exercise for either of us.OH stopped for fuel, so I went into the garage shop as we needed milk. Found 2 packs of chicken thighs YS for £1.43 each. Now in the freezer.Finished off celery soup for lunch (a very small bowlful each) with a slice of cheese on toastSowed lots of seeds - peas, broad beans, chives, dill, basil and lots of flowers (asters, sunflowers, livingstone daisies, calendula. I have stuck most of them in the greenhouse for now, though I will bring some in tomorrow as it is too cold for them to germinate out there. The flowers and basil are already in, and the peas and beans can stay out.Started taking my purchases upstairs for storageCooked a nice roast dinner. There will be cold meat for tomorrow and maybe another meal. Can't believe another week has gone by already!0
