What small DFW things will you do this week w/c 10 March?

When we start on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards, and canceling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer every day to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

A fresh new week...
I feel like I've mastered the small steps but it's the big things that I really need now so I can start to make a dent! 😵💫
⚡Emailed recruiter - as March rolls around I realise the best case scenario is thinking about my first pay day being the end of April and it could so easily be the end of May! 🤔
⚡Tidying round
⚡List some stuff on Vinted
⚡Bag up stuff for charity shop - clear space in my wardrobe/floordrobe!
⚡Create something magical for dinner tonight
Hope you're all doing well. Looking forward to seeing what you're doing and hoping to glean some inspiration!

Not much inspiration here I'm afraid, but I have / will:Returned an unwanted item that I shouldn't have ordered in the first place for a refund. Free return.Made mushroom soup to use up mushrooms from last week's shop, and ageing cream. Enought for today's lunch and tomorrow's tooRoasted some plums that I bought last week (on offer in L*dl) and left to ripen a bit.Visited old friends, who have recently returned to the UK from living abroad.Took them some strawberry and mint plants for their new gardenSpend day today, went to a lovely local nursery and bought compost for my garden pots. I will supplement this with home made compost from the bins and old compost from last year.Repotted my two little Christmas trees. Why do I have 2 Christmas trees? One isn't really a proper Xmas tree, but some type of mini fir. My little grandson wanted a tiny one to decorate. They both look good, so I have repotted them into slightly bigger pots from my stash. Hopefully they will be q bit bigger next year and take GS a bit longer to decorateDinner will be a gammon steak shared between us, with eggs, a few chips, tomato halves and the rest of the mushrooms.Hope everyone has had a good day3

Hi March Money-Savers,A precious 4 days off.I have some sort of plague, this is not helping. My Dad and Uncle are coming up from another nation tomorrow just to complicate things. Trying to get as much rest as possible. Excited he's coming but got zero energy for entertaining guests.Debt-Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Nine:Things I'll definitely do:
- Alarm clock off at the wall during day time.
- Reconciled my finances spreadsheet and made a backup copy.
- Sort out my own nails.
- Filled my pill box so I remember my pills and don't get sick(er).
- Cleared my Letter Rack.
- Checked TopCashBack.
- Cleared all my emails.
- Changed the settings on my Curious Cat to Max, to earn more points. Cashed in £2 of points.
- Planned for a concert I'm going to in the city on Wed.

Hope you feel better soon to properly enjoy seeing your visiting family @allydowdCold weather seems to be back with a vengeance today - I went outside for a while and turned out a hanging basket full of some kind of flowering succulent. It was very dry and dead looking at the base, though with green growing ends, if that makes sense. I soaked it in water, split it, returned one piece to the basket and potted up the other 4. If it survives all well and good, and if it dies I can just plant something else in its place. It has pretty pink flowers so I thought it was worth a try. What a chilly job though! I didn't stay out long once I had finished that.Other than that, I have done the shopping, cleaned the bathroom and made a fish pie from freezer ingredients. OH was barred from buying main meal ingredients (he does like a YS chicken in Wa*trose
) at the shops, as I am determined to continue to get the freezer contents used up.
There is enough fish pie for tomorrow as wellI also made 4 little fruit crumbles, 3 plum and one apple and pear, with chopped walnuts in the crumble topping. 3 have now gone into the freezer.and the fourth will do for pudding for a couple of days. I had crumble topping left, which has also gone in the freezer (it fills faster than I can ever empty it)
