Sketch pad and boxes of crayons / coloured pens that were on the kitchen table (because there was nowhere else to put them) are now stashed on the bureau in LR - where the redundant laptops were stood.

Two loads of washing out on the line, it's dry but the sun is only intermittent. It's hard to tell whether the washing is still damp or just cold. I'll leave it another hour. Very chilly again today. Last weekend I was sitting in the garden reading.7

Yesterday's washing brought in and finished off in the kitchen. WM x 2 both pegged out. Accounts brought up to date and bank statements reconciled. Broken mat glued back together, which I've been meaning to do for several weeks.Better is good enough.7

some moron has told my mum she’s being moved to the new home. it’s been a sh1tshow. we don’t even tell her when we are taking her to medical appointment s as she cannot cope with any changes and she gets incredibly anxious. She was in full flight or fight mode an d flight wasn’t a option. Heck i didn’t even tell her about my diagnosis and that was 3 years ago…everybody in the family, friends (inc you) knew…but not my mum.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

It's a frosty one here. 🥶
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, only managed one line in Connections, and I've supped a brew.

Morning all.
Wordle in three, just one line on connections, strands with no hints and letter boxed in four words.
Wow Valli, just as well your mum is leaving there.
Very frosty here. One wash load just finished which I'll put on airer. I've made a batch of fruit salad and some coleslaw. Will do dailies and dog walk as usual after breakfast, then this afternoon we need to get a new bulb in car then visit family.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning all. The sun is shining here, and I’ve drunk my first cuppa.
Hope your mum’s move goes smoothly, Valli. Xx
What’s in the box, round? X
Can I come round for leftovers, Fayolle? X
i had a great day yesterday: learnt a lot about new ways of using maps and finding old wills that aren’t online, saved £40 on a subscription that I had planned to take out anyway, had a glorious view of the hills from where I ate my lunch, saw lots of newborn lambs and spring flowers on the way there and back, and didn’t get stuck in any traffic jams!
All good for the soul
DS1 had rung early to invite us for tea, so I just had time between getting home and going to see them to take Rosie for a walk.
Today is a typical Sunday when DH will be out all afternoon at wargames. I shall do a quick shop for a few essentials on my way home from church, PUPA everywhere, sort the bits I bought at the show yesterday, and take Rosie out.
If you can, have a relaxing day, Flyfriends xxx
