Has anyone else noticed this? The buyers protection fee is on the item only so I am seeing more of the cheap item/expensive post listings to reduce the BP fee. This is going back to the time when final value fees were only charged on the item and we had a lot of 99p items with £20 postage.

I list with added postage because it make it easier to combine postage which happens quite often as I'm selling my late husbands collections
I try to add the exact postage although sometimes I need to choose another courier or the courier price changes.
This week I had to claim for a lost parcel. This was surprisingly simple. £14.99 for the item and £3 postage. The exact item price was refunded to me and the exact postage fee £2.94. So I am happy.
So 6p goes somewhere. If I had sold for £4.99 with £13 postage I would not be happy. I certainly won't be inflating postage feesLove living in a village in the country side0 -
I have seen a lot of large letter sized items with Tracked 48 postage at £2.70 which makes me wonder if that's Simply Delivery starting to be used more often? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

I have still kept offering my items free post, but have noticed I am having to drop prices slightly lower than previously to deal with the buyer protection prices.1
