Morning all. Yesterday's weather wasn't as bad as forecast, just a bit of light rain first thing followed by hazy sunshine and still mild. Today and tomorrow are apparently going to be good, lots of sun and feeling quite warm before things go downhill. Ah well, it is only March after all.
What's on the cards for today? Not a lot! I'll take advantage of the warmer weather to get the patio planters sorted out, as in empty them and start again. Apparently our local Homebase is going to become a Wickes (in June, I think) so I should be able to get some new plants and bulbs there. DS's visit didn't happen yesterday as he got held up at work by a new customer but has rung to say he'll be here by lunchtime today. Risotto for tea tonight, toasted waffle topped with fruit and yogurt for afters. I got the waffles half price at the Co-op the other day and thought they might make a change. Wrapped in packs of two and with a bbe date of April.
@Chrisca - Shame about your DH's holiday problem, I hope all goes well when it's investigated.
@Gers - Glad you had a better day and enjoyed your evening at the big house.

Its a lovely bright and almost warm day today I have stripped the beds and got the bedding in the wm it can be hung out once done.
Thank you so much for the Birthday wishes I had a really lovely day - had my nails done then home for a relaxing bath then wine and presents and a takeaway pizza for dinner I was very spoilt and I am very lucky 😃
Im going to do a bit of gardening later I have some bulbs to plant and I need to start getting ready to jet wash the patio this may or may not get done today but I can start shifting things.
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and look in the freezer after this.
Chrisca shame about your DH hope he is ok now xx
