Had a look for Pam Ties - Appears to be in the business of selling damp proofing treatments and courses. I can't see any certificates or guarantees being worth the paper they are printed on.And if you have had a leak in a kitchen causing damp in a wall, you don't want to be slapping waterproof render/plaster or any other damp "cures" on the wall. If the wall is soaking wet, get the room temperatures up to a reasonable level and run a dehumidifier for a few weeks. Knock off any loose plaster, and replaster. Give the wall a thin mist coat and leave for 3-4 months. Sometime in June or July, redecorate. What exactly has this "expert" recommended ?Her courage will change the world.

I'd had a dishwasher leak on same wall as kitchen and living room put some stain block on and redecorated 12 months later further up all white salt marks have come through the lining paper.
