Do I need to complete a form D11?

Going through divorce process and have had the conditional order pronounced at court. Do I need to complete a form D11 to prevent final stages of divorce being applied for by husband whilst financials are being negotiated. We are both entering into mediation so therefore would a form D11 still be required as it’s yet another cost. He is the one in control of applying for all the divorce process.
I’ve been made aware that once final stage of divorce granted that diminishes my financial claim from the actual marriage whilst the financial negotiations are ongoing.
Any advice please?
Thank you.

The final order primarily affects pensions rights. The doesn't prevent financial claims in and of themselves. Have you submitted form A to court? Do you know his pensions provision? As a first call you can ask his solicitors for an undertaking not to apply for the final order until the financial claims are resolved, or otherwise it's a 10(2) application to the court to consider the financial position of the respondent before making a final order.1
