car insurance for learner driver

Options
My son is having driving lessons, and I would like him to drive our family car in order to acquire some experience. I understand that there are some insurance companies which offer specific insurances for learner drivers. However one of the conditions is that I need to have a UK driving license. I have a European (Dutch) license, and this seems to be an obstacle to take out the insurance. Does anybody know whether there are companies that offer insurances also if I have a EU license (rather than a UK one)?
Thank you.

Collingwood Learner Insurance maybe worth a try? They state that the person accompanying the learner can be any person over 21 years of age, who has held (and still holds) a valid full UK/EU Licence in the same category as the vehicle they are driving, for at least 3 years.
