Help - 0% card application links with a "*" are not working for me

Hi I'm trying to apply for a 0% credit card having done the eligibility check. When I click on "* apply now" then I end up on an ad page which cannot be reached in my browser. Is this something I'm doing wrong, there is no alternative route to the card provider, and finally I posted this here because I couldn't find another way to raise the query. Can anyone advise me on what I can do.

Which page has the link you're clicking? What do you mean by "no alternative route to the card provider", which one?0

Credit card eligibility checker, first entry is Barclaycard and when I want to apply there is only the option to press the red button mard "apply now*". Pressing this tries to take through ad.click page but I end up on a broken web page.0

Have you tried just going directly to the lender's own website? It won't make any difference to your eligibility chances, the soft check on this site (or any other aggregator site) is at best a rough indication anyway. You'll only know for sure when you actually submit an application.

But surely www.barclaycard.co.uk will take you to where you're trying to get to, if there's an issue with the link provided by MSE (assuming you're referring to a page on this site)?0

I think you could be right, I haven't tried yet, but on MSE it suggested I would only get 16 months interest free if I didn't go through the MSE link whereas going through the MSE link guarantee 33 months interest free.
I was really trying to check if the problem was me or my machine or the links on that page.0 -
I will try applying directly and see how that goes. Thanks for suggestions. It would still be nice to understand why the link isn't working but I'm not sure of the correct place to raise that query.0

If you've spotted a broken link or an error in a main site guide, the weekly email, or a tool on the site, please let us know by emailing the team. We have a dedicated team that works to fix these issues as quickly as possible.
Please note - we are not able to reply to emails received into this mailbox.
When reporting a broken link or error, please include as much detail as possible. This includes the specific article or section of the weekly email where the issue occurred. If you can provide a link to the specific spot on the site, that would be even better!

Hi thanks for this. I will raise it using the information you provided. Also I did apply directly as you suggested and it has all worked correctly. I know it seems obvious, but I don't know why I didn't instinctively do the obvious thing there. Thanks for the help.0
