AXA customer service

After an MSE frecommendation for Cover for You I purchased what turned out to be Axa travel insurance. After two years with a policy I made a first and modest claim (they initially denied I had a policy) in early December '24 6 weeks later they finally settled. Then silence. I have given them my bank details for payment mutiple times, even phoning them up and confirming the correct details. Always I do the running, when I email I get an automated response and then an unhelpful actual reply weeks later. Can anyone please suggest who I get them to pay me. I can't help thinking they just want me to give up. All this hassle to reclaim £300 for 2 nights in a Spanish hotel. Vueling refunded me the flights for the same cancelled trip in 24 hours.
