Buying a freehold property with under lease

Has anyone ever bought a freehold house within under lease title?
Lenders have agreed to an indemnity policy. However, has anyone resolved it once owning the property??

Do you mean that the freehold title is subject to a lease? Presumably it isn't a registered lease and the owner is not known? How many years are left on it?0

That's what I'm asking. If there's a registered lease then that's a much bigger problem than an unregistered one.
What has your solicitor advised? If you accept the indemnity then this is instead of resolving the issue.
