HP Notebook 15-bs158sa - can trackpad button be prised off?

Hi all.
The LH trackpad button on this laptop is wobbly. It functions - clicks - perfectly, but feels as tho' the return spring on the button's LH end has failed or become displaced, so the button falls low at that end, and wobbles and rattles a fair bit.

Q - can the button be prised off safely, without damage, to expose the gubbins below? If so, I'm sure I can effect an easy repair without having to open the lappie.
Thanks.

This is probably a broken piece of plastic underneath the button causing it to lean that way.

This unit looks like the touchpad is part of the whole keyboard unit, so the touchpad won't be replaceable on its own

    Thanks Neil.
Yes, I'd seen that cover, but obviously hope a repair can be effected instead - something that doesn't require me removing mobos and stuff.
Ah well - time to at least remove the back cover, and see if the trackpad is removable as a separate unit - some videos suggest it can be - 6 screws - but not sure if they relate to this specific model.
    Cheers.

It looks as if it may be fairly easy to replace - if you are used to opening up laptops.
Cost is of course a consideration, it looks like you may get a new touchpad for about £30; but what may be peanuts to some may need a sacrifice by others.
(Alternative - Turn it off, tape it down, and plug a mouse into a USB port?)

I currently do have the back off as I'm having to fix the WiFi and fan - and, as I discovered - the hinges...
Yes, I could swap it all to a new case, but would much rather avoid that for the hassle and the cost - it would be 'just about' worth it for the lappie, but barely.
I'll certainly look at getting just the touchpad part - as long as I have access to all the plastic thingies from behind (will check today).
It's also not a functional issue - it clicks with ease - but obviously I'd like to sort it, and this would be dead easy if the button could be prised off without causing additional damage.
