Hi, I have ready through the newbies thread but have gotten a bit lost in it all I blame baby brain!
My husband received the first charge by parking eye in november for parking in asda (2 hours stay) by staying over by 17 minutes as stated. However it wasn't him who was driving, we haven't contacted the company parking eye or dcbl as of yet as all the advice we were given before hand was to ignore?
I have since got in touch with asda and they have said because it's so far after and got to the dcbl they can't help. Just wondered what our next steps would be?

Debt collectors letter, ignore it, ignore them , post 4 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements
Keep trying to get Asda to cancel the PCN, regardless of the replies, escalate to the board members or CEO
DO NOT CALL IT A FINE, its not a fine
Reprimand them for claiming that their contractors issue fines, if they mentioned it, or the word penalty either
Private parking company charges are invoices for the alleged breach of the parking contract on that private property , nothing more3 -
I get it about 'baby brain' as I'm a mum of four now adult kids. But have another look: that letter is in the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread already. Advice is there.ooppsiee said:Hi, I have ready through the newbies thread but have gotten a bit lost in it all I blame baby brain!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD3 -
