Probate contacting witnesses due to will not being bound together

I recently applied for probate as the executor to my father's will and the sole beneficiary. The will was done using free wills and all pages were numbered but I sent the will to probate just paperclipped together.

Last night they acknowledged receipt of my document, then 2 hours later received another email asking questions about it not being bound together and asking for contact details for the witnesses even though the pages are clearly numbered.

Has anyone else experienced this? I've just given them telephone numbers for the witnesses, but do they need home addresses instead is it a call they receive or forms to complete and return?

They will need addresses unless the addresses are actually on the wills.

The addresses are on the will, should I reply again and advise of this? It wasn't clear it just said contact details not home addresses

When I had to do something similar I had to provide full details including addresses as they sent a form out to each witness.
it wouldn’t do any harm to also send a message to say the addresses are on the will but just to clarify for witness A the address is……. and the same for the other witness. I did this several times with various witness information.
