    If I wanted to be a dreamer, then I'd stick my money elsewhere and use some of the interest to buy my self a Euromillions ticket for a similarly  remote  chance of a better dream.

    Personally, I've never fancied winning the Euromillions...seriously who needs £10s or £100s of millions? I know that goes against the grain and comes across as a bit miserable to many...but I'm thinking all that responsibility coupled with hedonic adaptation! No thanks! My missus thinks I'm mad though! :smile:

    I'm a small house, warm cozy room, comfy chair, piano, music and a good book kind of a guy. I don't need millions for that!

    Depends on your situation, PBs are great from a tax perspective as prizes aren't taxable. If you need easy access and low risk then well, easy access accounts. If access is less of a concern consider the time horizon.. If say 1-2 years I'd be looking at fixed rate accounts, if 3+ years I'd be looking more towards Gilts. Holding the gilt to maturity guarantees you the return you calculated on entry, with the bonus you can sell at some point if needed in say an emergency.

    You could always give it to charity if you won!
    I would give it to the local hospital in preparation for my missus putting me there!

    Perfectly understandable.

    I'm pretty certain a win of that magnitude would ruin me. Though I might have some fun along the way
